Coir Substrates- Our products
Elfferich supplies the Coconut based pottingsoils to many reputed companies in numerous countries world – wide.
The Elfferich product range covers a wide gamut of coir substrates with a growing range of additional innovative products. These products are manufactured under stringent quality control procedures to ensure our customers always get the quality they’ve come to expect from us.
Why use coir Substrates?
Coconut based substrates have some unique advantages and characteristics. It has the capability to absorb water, even after complete de-hydration, but at the same time it will also drain out water easily when the substrate is fully saturated.
Coir & the environment
Coir substrates are made from the Coconut husk of the palm tree (Cocos Nucifera L.). The Coconut is 100% used and because it is a renewable product coir substrates are very environmental friendly products. All our production locations are equipped with Effluent Treatment Plants.
